San Francisco is renowned for its eclectic mix of victorian houses and modern architecture, steep rolling hills, its famous landmarks, parks, museums, cafes and restaurants, the cable cars, cultural diversity, its blue sky and chilly summer fog. We love the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Nob Hill, Pier 39, Chinatown, Transamerica Pyramid, Union Square.
We go down the famous Lombard Street: the crookedest street in the world! We arrive in Fisherman’s Wharf, known for its numerous attractions : Pier 39, sea lions, the marina, the carousel, Ghirardelli Square, the Cannery. The sidewalks are crowded with street performers. We can reach Alcatraz island by boats ride from Pier 33.
A small and charming village, Sausalito, is overlooking the San Francisco Bay. On Bridgeway, the main street, there are a lot of art galleries, restaurants, shops... Sausalito is also famous for its collection of colorful float homes.
